Libby RESIGNS

Breaking News from CNN that Scooter Libby, Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff, has resigned in light of the CIA leak indictment annouced this morning:

I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, resigned on Friday after a federal grand jury voted to indict him on charges related to the CIA leak investigation.

Libby was indicted on one count of obstruction of justice, two counts of perjury and two counts of making false statements, court documents show.

The indictments were not related to the actual leak of operative Valerie Plame's name.

Yep. Indicted for making false statements, which is the politically correct phrase for "lying."
