Prime Minister: Sorry, The Planets Aren't Aligned

It's true - politicians will reach for anything to avoid having accountability. Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, famous for his distain of the media, has refused to answer questions about his sister using a military plane to fly guests to a birthday party - because the planets aren't aligned.

"Right now Mercury ... is in a corner perfectly aligned with my star. Mercury is no good, so if it's not good, I am going to request not to speak. I'll just wait until next year to talk," Thaksin told reporters Sunday after returning to Bangkok from a trip to South Korea and China.

He added that Mercury moves slowly and will not steer clear of his star until next year.

Uhmm'k. (Just for the record for those of you who don't know, Mercury rules communication in astrology.) It takes all kinds....

OMG LOL Now i really have heard everything! When writing to Elected Officals and State Co Ordinators I have gotten many excuses. I even sugested to one that they just have a section in training called "Excuses Law Enforcement can use to bluff the public" But this one is priceless.
